Today's update is one filled with a buoyant joy as Team Torment enters the play balance and tweaking phase. We've already been doing this for awhile, but this week marks the beginning of the true madness as the entire team gears up to tweak, play, and balance the game.

It's always good to get a fresh perspective on certain aspects of our game. While our designers, scripters, programmers and artists were busy implementing everything they needed to put in (for their areas), they didn't always get the chance to run through all the areas of the game in the past, but now they have the chance. And this is one of the key reasons for my elation this morning: The entire team is now busy running through the game, not only to finesse their own work, but also to just play it and see how fun it is - and what issues need to be resolved, etc.

Another reason for jubilation is the fact that we see the light at the end of the tunnel, now ^_^. The goal was always there, but now, it's even clearer, and as we push onto the final stretch, things are only looking better and better.

(and I'll finally be able to play Biohazard 3 (Resident Evil 3) and FF8 US soon)
