A design update:

We're doing essentially what we were doing last week. We're finishing up an area for our monthly milestone, and it looks like it'll be coming in on time - at least, as far as I can tell. We're actually aiming at having this month's work done by Wednesday, thus giving our QA folks a little extra time to make sure we've done our jobs right. I'd love to tell you exactly what areas we're doing, but I don't think the names would mean anything to you right now, and I'd probably give away some surprises for later. That would be bad.

That was informative, wasn't it?

I've been wrestling with the dilemma of trying to be funny or serious or philosophical here. I'm not exactly sure of what you folks want from the designer updates. If you'd do me the favor of posting your opinion on the board (hey, look, Colin's trying to generate discussion!), keeping in mind that I can't give away story elements, plot points, or locations, I'd really appreciate it. I'd like this update to be something that you're interested in reading, and hell, right now I'm just firing blindly.

And I'll skip the rant about the media blaming "gothic" music for the Littleton shootings, mainly because I suspect I'd be preaching to the converted.

Thanks, folks... I'm looking forward to your answers!

Colin
